G Stands for Good Volunteer Playbook

This G Stands for Good Training Playbook is an extension to our training modules, and in it, you’ll learn about our key pillars and how to recruit, manage, and lead teams of General Mills volunteers, and who you can connect with to learn more.

G Stands for Good Volunteering Training

Employee-driven volunteerism at General Mills is deeply connected to our philanthropic pillars of Regenerating Ecosystems, increasing Food Security, and Strengthening our Hometown Communities. This training includes short segmented video modules to guide your volunteering experience.

Don't forget you can double your impact with General Mills' year-long match program. Visit go/wegive, identify an eligible charity of your choice, make a donation and select the match program option to double your dollars (up to $1000/year).

Hi Team, Global Volunteer Weeks are April 14 – 25, 2025, and I hope you are as excited as I am to volunteer again! The Global Impact Team has put together some wonderful resources to make it easy to engage both in person and at home. I encourage you to check out go/gvwk where there are countless resources for you to explore.

Plus, I’d like to get a group together to volunteer. Let’s talk more about what that could look like for our team and what project works best for us. Thanks for being a force for good!

With only three of us staff, volunteers are a huge help! There’s no way we could get this all done alone.
