Taking Action Against Hunger
2.4 billion people globally experienced moderate or severe food insecurity in 2022. Global hunger also remained relatively unchanged from 2021 to 2022 and is still significantly higher than before the pandemic. (resource: World Bank)
At General Mills, we are grounded in the belief that every individual, family and community should be food secure and free from hunger. We actively work to make more food available to those in need and, together with our nonprofit partners, we work to ensure all members of the community have reliable, equitable access to a wide range of affordable foods.
Let's address hunger together this World Food Day by bringing awareness to food insecurity in our communities and inspire action to help those who are experiencing hunger locally and globally.
